The Fox Valley Camera Club was started in 2003 by a group of local photographers. 

Our members are dedicated to improving their art of photography through interaction with other local photographers, programs, and competitions.  The club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from September through May.  The 2nd Tuesday is dedicated to a program given on a variety of topics related to photography.  On the 4th Tuesday members have the option of participating in the monthly photo competition.  Members may opt to not compete in the monthly competitions and still enjoy all the other benefits of the club.

We cordially invite you to take part in all of the Camera Club's programs. Visitors are welcome at our regular club programs and competitions on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays (September - May), 7:30 p.m. at a meeting room in the offices of AID, Association for Individual Development, 1135 Bowes Road, Elgin, IL 60123. 

Membership is open to everyone with an interest in photography as a hobby - no experience necessary. Annual dues are $30. 

Periodically the Camera Club plans field trips providing photographers with hands on shooting opportunities in a variety of locations such as Chicago at night and Eyes to the Skies balloons in Lisle. Workshops may be held during the year to teach photographic techniques and basics of composition, lighting, etc.
